Free Coffee Offer & $2,000 Draw — Terms and Conditions

By claiming a free coffee or entering the draw, you accept these terms.

1. The offer

1.1. The Promoter is giving away up to 1,000 free coffees per participating cafe each campaign quarter, and one cash prize of AUD $2,000 ("the Prize") to be won by draw.

1.2. The free coffee offer and the Prize draw are separate: you can claim a free coffee without entering the draw.

2. Who can enter

2.1. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.

2.2. Employees of the Promoter, participating cafe owners and their staff, and their immediate families may claim a free coffee but are not eligible for the Prize draw.

3. How to claim your free coffee

3.1. Scan the QR code at a participating cafe and complete the entry form (name, phone, email).

3.2. You will receive an entry number. Show it to cafe staff to receive your free coffee. Staff will mark the number as redeemed — each number can be used once.

3.3. Limit of one free coffee per person across all participating cafes, identified by email address and phone number.

3.4. Free coffees are available while each cafe's quarterly allocation of 1,000 lasts, at participating cafes during their normal trading hours, and subject to each cafe's availability. No cash alternative.

4. How to enter the draw

4.1. To enter the draw, tick the draw opt-in box when completing the entry form. Ticking the box also means you agree to receive occasional offers from local businesses via Brands In Hands (you can unsubscribe at any time without affecting your entry).

4.2. Completing the optional profile questions earns one bonus entry (maximum two entries per person).

4.3. Entry opening and closing dates will be announced on this page before entries open.

4.4. If a cafe's quarterly coffee allocation is exhausted before the closing date, the free coffee offer ends at that cafe but entry to the draw remains open until the closing date. Entries received after a cafe's allocation is exhausted are draw-only and do not include a free coffee.

5. The draw

5.1. The draw will take place at the Promoter's premises in Brisbane on the date announced on this page, using a random electronic selection from all valid entries.

5.2. The winner will be notified by phone and email within 2 business days of the draw, and their first name and suburb will be published on www.brands-in-hands.com.au and the Promoter's social media pages.

5.3. The Prize is AUD $2,000, paid by bank transfer to the winner's nominated Australian bank account.

5.4. If the Prize is not claimed within 3 months of the draw, a redraw will be held under the same conditions, and the new winner notified in the same way.

6. General

6.1. The Promoter may verify the identity and eligibility of entrants and disqualify incomplete, duplicate, automated, or fraudulent entries.

6.2. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into, except as required by law.

6.3. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss arising from the offer or the draw, including technical failures beyond its reasonable control.

6.4. Personal information collected is handled in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy. Draw entrants' details are used to run the draw and, where opted in, to send offers.

6.5. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
